In December 2010, the Digital Inclusion Fund awarded 11 grants totaling $100,000 to organizations across the city for programs to promote technology access and technology literacy. The grantees were chosen through an RFP process.

The following grants were awarded:

For the Health and Wellness Resource Library Expansion

For a seniors online program

Blindness: Learning in New Dimensions, Inc. - $10,000
For technology access for blind persons

Children's Health Care Foundation - $8,505
To support the iPad Technology Inclusions Project

Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly - $6,995
For technology for participants

Minnesota - $10,000
For online civic engagement resources

Operation De Novo - $7,000
To upgrade the Client Resource Room

Tubman - $10,000
For the Community Technology Center

Open Access Connections (formerly Twin Cities Community Voice Mail) - $10,000
For the Netbook Lending Library

Twin Cities RISE - $10,000
For the Computer and Internet Instruction Program

YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis - $10,000
